Saturday, March 3rd:  9:00am to 3:00pm - Project Linus of Lower DelMarVa is having a
Make a Blanket Day.  Join us at Salem United Methodist Church, corner of 2nd and Walnut
Streets, Pocomoke City, MD 21851.  Plenty of yarn and fleece will be available, and fabric too,
for whatever kind of blankets you like.  Help is needed with labeling and tagging the many
beautiful blankets that have been made and donated recently.  Hospitals and children's agencies
are waiting!  Bring a bag lunch or order out.





Sunday, March 4th, March 11th, & March 18th:  4:00pm - Lenten Study in the Lounge.  We
will be talking about the early church, the creeds, and the major turning points in Christian faith
over the centuries, specifically the Reformation.  We will talk about the reasons that John Wesley
reacted and look closely at his core values and teachings, which led to the Methodist faith.  The
final Sunday will address the changes since the founding of the church in 1986, and the potential
changes that are being addressed this year.  Bring your own food an beverage if you'd like.





Sunday, March 11th:  9:30am - Sunshine Sunday.  Wear yellow to celebrate Daylight Savings
Time and longer brighter days ahead.





Sunday, March 19th:  7:00pm - Church Council Meeting.





Saturday, March 24th:  9:30am to 12:00pm - Bishop's Confirmation Rally at Barratt's Chapel,
6362 Bay Road, Frederica, DE 19946.  Catch the Spirit!  Youth participating in Confirmation in
their local churches are invited to a Pokemon Go! theme experience to learn about the evolving
process of salvation, the power of spiritual gifts, the energy of spiritual disciplines, and the gift of
the sacraments, in addition to some of the history of Methodism on the Delmarva
Peninsula.  Registration will take place until 10:00am.  To register, send email

Friday, March 30th:  12:00pm - Good Friday Service at Pitts Creek Presbyterian Church (tenative).
